Foreign Minister lauds Bahraini youth’s achievements

Manama, August 12 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani praised the steps and achievements made by Bahraini youth under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman. He expressed his pride in the leadership roles played by young people in many national, regional and international forums, as the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates the International Youth Day on August 12, which is held this year under the slogan ‘Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World’. for all ages’

He emphasized the initiatives of His Majesty the King and the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to enhance the empowerment of Bahraini youth and support their role in national development.

In this regard, he praised HM the King’s support for humanitarian work and youth affairs and the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. Chairman of the Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs referred to the countless Bahraini initiatives that enhance the role of youth in the Bahrain team, which are the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program, the National Program for the Development of the Youth and Sports Sector “Response”, the Hope Fund, and Tamkeen.

His Highness congratulated all Bahraini youth on this day, praising their contributions in the diplomatic field. He stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare young Bahraini diplomats through the programs offered by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies.

He stressed that empowering young people and protecting their civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights are among the main priorities of the National Human Rights Plan (2022-2026).
