Foreign Minister holds discussion session with Libyan counterpart

Manama, October 4 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani held official talks today with Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr. Najla Al-Manqoush during her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the brotherly relations between the two countries, which are constantly developing in light of mutual keenness to enhance cooperation in several fields. He stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain supports Libya in its efforts to establish stability and security, and to reach a political solution that preserves Libya’s sovereignty and independence, stops any interference in its internal affairs, and holds the scheduled parliamentary elections to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan brother. Dr. Naglaa Al-Manqoush praised the Kingdom’s hospitality upon her arrival, noting the Kingdom’s positions in support of the Libyan Government of National Unity to restore peace, security and stability.
