Manama, September 20 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani praised the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in bringing peace and combating extremism and terrorism as a means to achieve a more secure and prosperous world for all.
He expressed his pride in celebrating the International Day of Peace, which falls on September 21, under the slogan “End racism.” Building Peace”, which comes within the framework of Bahrain’s adherence to its human values and peaceful coexistence and its diplomatic initiatives calling for peace, international cooperation and mutual understanding.
He affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment under the leadership of His Majesty the King, and the directives of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to give peace a well-established strategic pillar abroad. placing it at the forefront of its priorities.
He praised the efforts of the Bahrain team in combating Covid-19, led by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, and the success it witnessed in overcoming its economic and social repercussions, which guaranteed the rights of all citizens and residents without discrimination, and promoted coexistence among all.
Dr. Al-Zayani praised the ministry’s diplomatic and administrative staff for representing Bahrain in various international forums, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness within the framework of the National Human Rights Plan (2022-2026) to continue its pioneering achievements in consolidating its values.
