Foreign Minister confers ‘Prince Salman bin Hamad Medical Merit’ upon Ministry’s employees

Manama, February 6 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Khalil Yaqoub Al-Khayat and a number of heads of sectors and directorates handed the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit for National Competencies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in appreciation of their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Foreign Minister congratulated the employees, expressing his thanks and appreciation for their sincere efforts in facing the epidemic.

He stressed the pride of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the appreciation of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the national efforts of all workers on the front lines to address the epidemic. Including cadres from the health sector, the Bahrain Defense Force, the Ministry of Interior and all the supporting authorities, motivating all citizens to do their best to serve the Kingdom, its citizens and residents.

The employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed their pride in receiving this high honor, stressing that it will encourage them more to serve the Kingdom of Bahrain.
