The ministry stated that the preliminary financial statements for 2022 showed an increase in total oil revenues by 58% compared to budget estimates and by 36% compared to actual results for 2021. The ministry also indicated that the total fiscal deficit decreased by 85% to reach 178 million Bahraini dinars, compared to the budget deficit estimated at 1,185 million Bahraini dinars.
