Job description and summary
• The employee payout team is key within the finance and accounting team at PwC Middle East. It is located within the Common Financial Services Center that provides expenditure verification activities to all regional entities
• The job holder is a member of the employee payout team that works to ensure that all activities are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the approved process
• Adheres to PwC approved accounting principles, applicable procedures, management guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable to the business.
• Supports the delivery of daily activities related to checking expenditures for the policy

Financial
• Support sample expense check – checks exceptions to ensure compliance of expenses against policy
• Escalate any issues to Expense Management as appropriate as per the guidelines provided
• Supports effective reporting and analysis of expense claims

client
• Handling any inquiries from customers to ensure that all questions and requests are answered quickly and accurately
• Completing expenditure processes in accordance with the policies and procedures approved by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Report changes required
• Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the employee’s record
• Perform related duties as directed. Coordinate activities with other departments and work groups as needed
• Ensure a proactive response to audit requirements regarding employee reimbursement

• Monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee expense claims
• Keep a record of all items found to be faulty in a clear and concise manner
• Input to reports by compiling data summaries as required
• Comply with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

education
College level or above with a focus in accounting, finance or related fields required

language
• Fluency in spoken and written English, fluency in Arabic is an advantage

Comprehensive experience
• Previous experience in an accounting/expenses function would be an advantage

Knowledge and skills
• Proficiency in the use of a computer and Microsoft / Google
• Good attention to detail
• Strong problem solving skills
• Understand public accounting standards and practices
• Strong time management skills
• Good level of analytical skills, proficient in the ability to perform data analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills s
• Organisation, accuracy, eye for detail and necessary proactiveness
