Manama, February 1 (BNA) The Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa affirmed the deep-rooted historical and strategic relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
The minister praised the broad and joint cooperation in all fields, especially in the financial and economic sectors, noting promising investment opportunities that benefit the two countries and peoples.
Receiving the British Minister of International Trade, Ranil Jayawardena, he stressed the steadily growing cooperation relations and strategies, stressing the importance of building on the achievements to strengthen the economic partnership.
The two sides reviewed aspects of joint cooperation and ways to further enhance the economic partnership. Major issues of common interest and global economic developments were also discussed.
