Manama, September 3 (BNA) Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received Maldives Minister of Finance Ibrahim Amir and Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology Amina Shona.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Industry and Trade Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Sustainable Development Noor bint Ali Al-Khalif, Minister of Tourism Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sirafi, Maldives Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Mohammed Khalil and other officials.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy reviewed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Maldives, noting the joint cooperation in all fields.
He stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop economic relations with the Republic of the Maldives and to support bilateral relations to achieve common interests.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation and coordination, in addition to other major issues of common interest.
The delegation of the Maldives expressed its sincere thanks to the Minister of Finance and National Economy, praising his constant keenness to support economic ties, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
