This is a beautiful position, as you will be part of a tight-knit team in a small and dynamic family office in Dubai with global business interests across a variety of industries. We are looking for an energetic individual who understands the concept of a family office and can add value across a broad management spectrum.

The position is diversified and two-pronged, providing full financial administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer, Legal and more office management and back office support to the Office Manager. The role will include managing all bank reconciliations, expenses, payments to suppliers, negotiating new agreements and contracts with suppliers, researching, analyzing data, and ensuring invoices are VAT compliant. The office works very collaboratively and the individual needs to be flexible and focus on the team.

A solid understanding of information technology and numerical ability is important, but a formal accounting qualification is not required. However, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience with Excel; Use pivot tables and search for v and h in particular. Financial reporting will also mean that PowerPoint skills will be developed. It is important for the candidate to understand that this is a small office environment and as such we are looking for a highly disciplined and self-motivated candidate, with a ‘can do’ attitude, and who has the desire to contribute, firmly and professionally, whether the task is big or small. Attention to detail, along with freedom of action is also a key factor for success in this role.

We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of professional experience and a strong and stable job history. Excellent research and analytical skills, along with common sense and negotiation acumen are vital to this position.
