‘FBI’ season finale pulled after Texas deadly shooting

Los Angeles (AFP) – CBS has pulled the season finale of the “FBI” series after a fatal shooting at an elementary school in Texas.

The network said Tuesday that it will not air the final episode of season four, titled “Prodigal Son.” The decision was made by CBS after a gunman killed at least 19 students at Robb Elementary School in Ovaldi, Texas. Authorities said the gunman also killed two adults.

The ending story involved the participation of a suspected student in a deadly robbery. It is unclear if the episode will be broadcast in the future.

The summary reads: “As the team investigates a deadly robbery that obtains a cache of killers’ automatic weapons, they discover that one of those involved is Ibn Gopal’s classmate, who is reluctant to cooperate.”

The network rebroadcast the show’s twelfth episode “Under Pressure” in place of the season finale.

Apple TV+ has also canceled a red carpet event for its second season of “Physical,” which stars Rose Byrne, due to filming.
