Main roles and responsibilities

– Update the whiteboard daily (AM).
Preparing daily cashier forms and operational forms.
The ability to account and deal with cash effectively, efficiently, and impartially, and to follow applicable and sound accounting procedures.
Full knowledge of food and beverage menus, up-to-date information on specialties and menus.
– Check regularly with the culinary team for unavailable items.
– Answer all phone calls quickly and effectively using the correct salutation.
Implement appropriate teller procedures in accordance with Raffles standards.
Ability to keep the counters clean, tidy and organized throughout the service life.
Correct preparation of all necessary operational materials in the requisition booth and in the warehouse areas.
– Report any guest comments to the chairperson, and complete the guest preference sheet.
– Communicate with internal and external clients in a polite, courteous and constructive manner.
Learn safety, sanitation and hygiene policies.
Participate in in-house training and necessary meetings.
Maintain good working relationship with colleagues and all other departments.
Actively promote the services and facilities of Raffles The Palm to guests and hotel suppliers.
Inform the manager of any kind of deviation from established standards and procedures.
Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets, hotel services/features and opening hours.
To control and maintain the timing of delivery within the Raffles Palm Standard.
