We are looking for a dynamic, client-oriented and entrepreneurial self-writer to join him as an Account Manager to grow the third party market in Egypt.
This position is chartered by acquiring, developing and managing high-value accounts that ensure selection of new products, value pricing and convenience for our clients. Specifically, this person will be responsible for analyzing product selection gaps and implementing GTM strategies to attract key players in the market to join e-commerce and maximizing our product and customer base selection advantage accordingly.
Main Job Responsibilities
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market segment, seasonal and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitors’ efforts
• Identify, prospect and acquire high potential vendors for our platform through direct sales visits, events and presentations.
• Guide sellers by sharing best online selling practices, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards for delivery, customer experience, and business goals.
• Collaborate with and influence a number of internal and external stakeholders to understand and resolve vendor problems.
Basic qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• The ideal candidates should have 1 to 3 years of successful experience in enterprise category sales, preferably in the areas of e-commerce, technology, retail and fashion.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a solutions-focused consulting approach.
• Experience in selling emerging products/services in new markets is highly desirable.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications, ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be highly passionate about success and winning.
• Excellent work judgment with strong written and oral communication skills
• Superior analytical capabilities and quantitative skills.
• Comfortable with complex financial statements. Polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presentation and negotiation
• Ability to think and lead in a high-energy and fast-paced environment. Comfortable with “hands-on” task management, and a proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple, competing priorities
qualifications preferred
• 2+ years experience in e-commerce is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in the fashion industry is a plus
• 3+ years direct sales experience is a plus
