Family-fun festival opens at Bahrain International Circuit

Manama, Nov. 23 (BNA): The Governor of the South, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, inaugurated today the Family Fun Festival at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of the South, Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, the Director General of the Municipality of the South, Asim Abdul Latif, and a number of officials.

The entertainment festival, which runs through December 3, will be open to the public from 4pm until midnight. More than 100 projects and other sectors participate in the event.

The governor toured the festival site, which includes entertainment activities, restaurants, cafes, and children’s galleries, in addition to artistic and cultural performances.

In a statement, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the festivals that cater to the various categories of visitors, noting the governorate’s role as a center for hosting major events.
