Manama, December 21 (BNA) Export Bahrain has won a prestigious international award, in a global testament to its essential role in empowering small and medium businesses in Bahrain and helping them explore new markets.
Export Bahrain has been named Best International Deal Facilitator for Startup Exporters as part of the 2021 Global Business Outlook Awards, which seek to honor and reward business excellence around the world.
International recognition reflects Export Bahrain’s tireless efforts to support and enable companies in Bahrain to access new opportunities in global markets.
These efforts have resulted in facilitating an export value of more than $110 million for Bahrain-based SMEs over the past three years since the start of Bahrain’s export.
This enabled more than 27% of the target group to access new markets abroad and encouraged more than 12% of SMEs supported by Export Bahrain to export their products and services for the first time.
This award is the second international honor that Export Bahrain has received this year, as the initiative was named “Best Company in Accelerating the Growth of Products and Services Made in Bahrain” by the Golden Bridge Globe Awards earlier this year.
