Responsibilities:
Oversee general activities in the field and work planning and on-site activities by ensuring that all required items such as materials or labor are available
Coordinate with the project manager and MEP contractor on project schedules, plans and on-site activities to ensure project is completed on time, within budget and with the best quality and safety record.
Ensure that activity objectives are achieved while producing the highest quality.
Ensure that costs are kept within budget.
Notify project management of timely identification of deviations from budget, project schedule, work quality or safety.
Take action to deal with the consequences of delays, unscheduled activities and emergencies.
Discuss with the contractor/client any issues/problems that may occur on site and work to resolve these matters/issues such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
Investigate damages, accidents or delays on site to ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
Obtain approval and approval of corrective actions that can be taken against any violations or errors that may occur on the site and lead to non-conformance reports and ensure that any open issues are closed.
Preparing the signed portion of the project progress report.
Maintaining all employee records and ensuring their safety at the work site.
Oversee the on-site workforce (site engineers, technicians, a team of subcontractors and any other staff working on site).
Deploy workers efficiently to work areas and enforce the need for additional resources and/or alternative work procedures required to maintain performance.
Maintain project database by ensuring proper backups and file system to enable easy access to all types of documents
salary:
25,000 to 40,000 QR per month, including fixed allowances.
Must have 8 years of Qatari experience in ELV
Good knowledge and experience in ELV systems installations, SCS testing, CCTV, Access Control, ICT, Networking, etc.
Strong personality and leadership quality.
– Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage a team of engineers and sub-specialists.
Minimum 7-8 years experience, handling all PM activities in Doha.
