Manama, June 2 (BNA) Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, received the Bahraini gold medal at the Malaysian International Exhibition of Invention, Innovation and Technology (ITEX) Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, who invented the automatic solar panel cleaning system.
The minister stressed the importance of achievement in the field of renewable energy and sustainable development and its role in serving current and future generations.
Al-Mutawa won a bronze medal at the Seoul International Invention Fair in the South Korean capital, roughly, for his invention in 2020.
He said that the idea of the device is based on a system for cleaning solar panels, and it works by means of artificial intelligence (AI), where the percentage of humidity, dust and sunlight is read on the solar panels.
