Manama, Mar. 9 (BNA): Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, received Iraja Silvestre Filho, a Brazilian member of the Brazilian Senate and Parliament, on the sidelines of her participation in the 46th meetings of the International Senate. Parliamentary Union (IPU).
During the meeting, the minister praised the joint diplomatic and parliamentary relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federative Republic of Brazil.
He stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs to enhance cooperation in order to push bilateral relations to further development and growth.
He pointed out that Bahrain’s hosting of the 146th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union during the period from 11 to 15 March constitutes a global recognition and appreciation for the exemplary parliamentary and democratic steps in Bahrain.
