Manama, September 21 (BNA) Head of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Authority, Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, Executive Director of Parliamentary and Municipal Elections, said that a total of 2,65,138 citizens checked voter lists.
The Executive Committee for Elections announced that voter lists will be displayed in the four supervisory committees for a week from September 15 to September 21 at 9 pm.
He said in a statement today that the verification procedures were carried out smoothly, whether through the official website of the elections or the four monitoring committees in the governorates.
He praised the wide turnout by citizens to check voter lists to ensure that their data are included in them, as it is the first essential stage in the electoral process, which embodied national awareness.
