Eight unlicensed manpower agencies and 26 irregular workers referred for legal action

Manama, May 8 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out a joint inspection campaign in the Capital Governorate, in coordination with the General Department for Crime Detection, Criminal Evidence, Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs in the Capital Governorate. Ministry of Interior.

The campaign resulted in the detection of violations related to labor market and residence laws and regulations.

The authority said that 26 irregular workers were arrested for violating their work permits, and 8 violating manpower agencies were referred to legal procedures after they did not obtain the necessary licenses.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority stressed the need for all institutions and individuals to comply with established legal procedures and obtain the necessary licenses from the Labor Market Regulatory Authority to avoid legal accountability.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority urges the public to visit the Labor Market Regulatory Authority website to view the list of manpower agencies that are compliant with laws and regulations that are updated regularly to preserve their rights and safety.
