Egyptian Prime Minister meets Arab Parliament Speaker

Cairo, Jan. 26 (BNA) Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly met with Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel Abdel Rahman Al-Asumi.

The Egyptian Prime Minister praised the policy and vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom’s pioneering urban and civilizational achievements, and the follow-up to the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin. Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He stressed the depth of the Egyptian-Bahraini relations that stem from the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and praised the Kingdom’s vital role in the issues of the Arab region.

The Prime Minister expressed his pride in the efforts made by the Arab Parliament, led by Adel Al-Asoumi, as a platform for dialogue and democracy, stressing Egypt’s support for the efforts of the Arab Parliament entrusted to it, and looking forward to discussing its prospects. Strengthening cooperation with it to serve common Arab causes.

Madbouly expressed his pride in the speaker’s efforts and the parliament’s initiatives that benefit the Arab region, and affirmed his country’s firm positions in protecting Arab countries and defending their issues in international forums, and its support for all efforts to achieve the desired goals.

The President expressed his thanks to Egypt’s leadership, government and people for hosting the parliament’s headquarters, and for its continuous efforts to support its initiatives aimed at promoting joint Arab action and activating parliamentary diplomacy at the regional and international levels.
