Egyptian President meets US State Secretary

Cairo, Jan. 30 (BNA): Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the importance of expanding strategic partnership relations between Egypt and the United States, saying that Cairo is looking forward to further strengthening coordination and consultation between the two sides in various political and practical fields. The spokesman added that the two sides reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the joint efforts and continuous Egyptian endeavors to contain the escalating situation in the Palestinian territories during the past days.

The spokesman added that Sisi stressed that the recent developments highlighted the need for immediate action on the political and security tracks to reach a calm and stop unilateral measures on both sides.
