Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma, received the principal of the Sacred Heart School, Sister Roslyn Thomas, and praised the school’s efforts since its establishment 74 years ago.
He recalled the historic visit made by His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, on the sidelines of his historic trip to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The minister was briefed on the preparations for the celebration of the Platinum Jubilee within the framework of the celebrations next December on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of its launch.
The principal expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Minister for following up on the school’s efforts to improve the level of graduates.
She also praised the minister’s efforts to promote the values of tolerance, coexistence, acceptance of the other and respect for religion in school curricula and student activities.
