Manama, June 13 (BNA) Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, received the principals of Zenobia Intermediate School for Girls and Hamad Intermediate School for Girls, for winning the Golden School award in the second session of the Arab Symbol Week.
Arab Code Week, “Artificial Intelligence and Environmental Protection”, organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO).
The Minister was briefed on the projects submitted for the competition and the advanced positions that the two schools in the Kingdom obtained.
Zenobia Intermediate School for Girls won the “Self-Reliance on Fossil Energy” project, and Hamad Town Intermediate School for Girls won the “Awareness Competition – Preserving the Environment” project.
Zenobia Middle School for Girls won the Best Student Project award in the Golden Team competition for the projects “My Environment Deserves”, “Team Agriculture is Life” and “Minecraft Creators”.
The minister praised the efforts made by the two schools, and stressed the ministry’s keenness to develop its programs and include topics related to artificial intelligence.
