Sharjah, October 13 (BNA) The Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, participated in the Rakaiz International Conference under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
The conference is organized by the Sharjah Education Council in cooperation with the Regional Center for Educational Planning under the slogan “Sustainable Education is the Future”.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
The minister reviewed Bahrain’s achievements, which were confirmed by positive regional and international reports, thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He praised the Kingdom’s experience in integrating students with special needs and the care they receive, as well as the role of teachers in light of sustainable education, and the establishment of the Bahrain Teachers’ College and its academic and training programs.
Dr. Al-Naimi highlighted the role of the Internet system in the ministry, which was reinforced by His Majesty King Hamad’s project for future schools in the Ministry of Education and the Digital Empowerment in Education Program.
He also referred to the services provided by the Ministry’s educational portal, which contributed to the sustainability of education during the coronavirus pandemic.
