EDB-backed Technacy to invest $ 3 million to expand operations in Bahrain

Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): The Kingdom’s investment promotion agency, Technisi, a provider of technology solutions, is preparing to expand its operations in Bahrain with an investment of $3 million with the support of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB).

Technacy aims to provide advanced technology solutions for communications and interactive multimedia in the Kingdom, including Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services, pay TV services, OTT applications, on-demand viewing, and analytics.

The company targets strategic partnerships with telecom service providers, large-scale commercial and residential projects, real estate developers, and hospitality brands.

Technacy aims to simplify IPTV architecture innovation, product layout and design mechanism, making the process efficient for the customer and the ultimate viewing experience for the consumer.

“In line with the Kingdom’s economic recovery plan and as part of our strategy to create a more sustainable and diversified economy, we are committed to cementing Bahrain’s position as a hub for digital innovation,” said Musab Abdullah, Executive Director of Business Development for Information and Communication Technology at the Economic Development Board.

He commented, “We are pleased to support the expansion of Tecnasi, which will have a positive impact on its digital economy.”
