Quest Search & Selection collaborates with one of the largest importers and retailers of accessories, watches and eyewear and has a portfolio of 150 stores within shopping malls, travel and online destinations.
Crucial to their success is to offer world-class, experienced customers, this retailer is currently looking for an e-commerce merchant to be part of their e-commerce team for a niche site.
Roles and Responsibilities of this E-Commerce Merchant Position:
• Develop and manage relationships with pure play market teams within the GCC & globally
• Acquisition of new sellers for our growing market
• Optimizing Marketplace and DTC’s position in terms of conversions and increased sales
• Reporting the weekly sales report to the core e-commerce team.
• Perform site analysis/audits to improve product listing
• Ensure that transcripts and metadata are fully optimized to drive traffic from search engines.
• Planning and implementing e-commerce promotional calendar
• Upload and maintain images, content descriptions, technical specifications, pricing, etc.
• Reporting the weekly sales report to the core e-commerce team.
• Develop and implement assortment and stock plan to match sales plan.
• Liaise with brand managers regarding e-commerce brand management on the site
salary:
10,000 to 15,000 dirhams per month, including fixed allowances.
To be successful in this e-commerce merchant position –
• At least 5+ years of working experience with marketplaces/e-commerce required
• Have experience as an e-commerce merchant, marketplace, e-commerce or CRO . background
• Ideally come from a retail or B2C e-commerce background
• Has experience and recrd tracking to optimize website optimization
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to work systematically and meet deadlines
