Istanbul, Feb. 23 (BNA): Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu said last night that the death toll from the devastating earthquakes in Turkey had risen to 43,556.
Soylu told state broadcaster TRT Haber that there were 7,930 aftershocks in the wake of the first quake in February. 6 And that more than 600,000 apartments and 150,000 shops suffered at least moderate damage, according to Reuters.
