Dubai customs inaugurates third International Innovation Forum

Dubai, February 24 (BNA) In its endeavor to spread a culture of innovation, and within the framework of its activities in the UAE Innovation Month, which is organized this year under the slogan “Al Fardah Innovates 2022”, Dubai Customs inaugurated the Emirates Innovation Exhibition. The Third International Innovation Forum for the third year in a row.


The forum aims to provide a periodic platform for innovators and inventors from inside and outside the country to interact with the relevant authorities from research centers, business incubators and private sector companies.


Dubai Customs Innovation Center released a video at the forum to entertain and educate the public about the initiative.


The 3rd International Innovation Forum is a platform for creative ideas and best practices and for raising awareness about the importance of innovation in improving our lives. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs, CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, said that this initiative will encourage others to follow the example of these innovators and come up with creative ideas and concepts.


Dubai Customs recently launched a number of innovations including smart electric vehicles, i-boxes, the second phase of the I-Declare program and a cross-border e-commerce platform. This forum aims to consolidate the culture of innovation and spread knowledge of its importance in modern life.


Hussain Al Fardan, Director of the Innovation Center at Dubai Customs, said: “The forum represents an opportunity for all creators to share short videos illustrating their innovations and creative concepts, which can be further developed and used to serve economic and social prosperity.”
