Job description and summary
The Digital Strategy and Operations team is a multidisciplinary regional team that supports public and private sector clients, helping them navigate the significant tax and digital transformation taking place in the Middle East. The team focuses specifically on tax transformation projects that impact tax strategy, operations, policies and techniques. We support our clients by enabling their tax job to operate efficiently and effectively.

– Look for opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside your comfort zone
Manage resources with different skills in the digital tax team to enhance their development
Participate in the growing digital tax team by identifying the required skills and working closely with the recruitment team to select the right resources
Work to solve problems that prevent effective teamwork, even in times of change and uncertainty.
Training others and encouraging them to take charge of their own development
Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a set of meaningful recommendations
Use multiple sources of information including the perspectives of broader stakeholders to develop solutions and recommendations
Processing substandard work or work that does not meet the expectations of the company/client
– Develop a perspective on key global trends, including globalization, and how they affect the company and our customers
Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties
Focus on building trusted relationships
Adhering to the company’s code of ethics and professional conduct

Work requirements

His ideal candidate

A background in accounting and/or management consulting
Understanding corporate tax
Experience in financial consolidation, planning or budgeting technology, such as Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Onestream Corporate Tax Provision
Good understanding of how taxes are set up in ERP and other systems, such as Oracle EPM Suite, Oracle Fusion, SAP BPC
Good understanding of the basic elements of the IRS and the implications of technology for taxation
