Work summary:
The design engineer participates in design activities for various types of bridges and tunnels.
Works closely with project teams to develop concept designs, schematic designs, detailed designs and bid documents that meet client and local authorities requirements.
Must have practical experience and good knowledge of AASHTO LRFD 2017.
Knowledge of other international standards and codes of practice is preferred.
Job Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s. Civil / Structural Engineering +
5-7 years of experience in bridge design
Steel bridges are preferred
– CSI BRIDGE, SAP, MIDAS CIVIL, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design and AutoCAD. Knowledge of BIM is preferred.
– Proficiency in written and spoken English
