Manama, April 3 (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received the newly appointed US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephen Bundy.
The Deputy Prime Minister praised the distinguished and historical Bahraini-US relations, and wished the ambassador success in performing his diplomatic duties.
The ambassador thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and stressed the importance of cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, topics of common interest and the latest regional developments were discussed.
