Manama, September 19 (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received India’s Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava and reviewed with him cooperation between the two countries in confronting the coronavirus pandemic and other issues of common interest.
The Deputy Prime Minister praised the historical relations between Bahrain and India and their development in various fields.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the keenness to expand the scope of cooperation, wishing the ambassador success in strengthening Bahraini-Indian relations.
The ambassador thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for supporting bilateral relations and developing cooperation.
