Deputy Prime Minister launches plan to build 19,000 housing units in ten years

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa announced the start of implementation of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s plan to build 19,000 housing units within 10 years. He pointed out that the plan falls within the government land development program, which is among the pioneering schemes launched by the government within the framework of its vision to expand its partnership to provide housing units for beneficiaries of housing services provided by the Ministry of Housing and Housing. He pointed out that the launch of the projects accompanying the government land development program comes after the success of its pilot phase, during which 132 units were built in the Luzi area, indicating that those units will be handed over to the beneficiaries during the first phase. next quarter.
