Cyber attack disrupts Los Angeles International Airport website

Los Angeles, Oct. 11 (U.S.): The Los Angeles International Airport website could not be reached after a group of hackers targeted the airport’s website, with parts of the website browsing the public crashing.


There were no disruptions to operations or airport systems.


By evening, the site appeared to be operating normally.


The cause is under investigation, and the airport reported the incident to the Transportation Security Administration and the FBI.


The cause of the malfunction has not been determined.
