Managing a complex AR portfolio across multiple product lines and countries. Manage and develop a team of collectors and employees across the region to ensure the team realizes their potential and achieves the expected results. Manage and encourage credit team development through training and setting and meeting goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Audit collection performance and personal reviews with the collections team to ensure accounts are operating at full capacity and manage all disputes.
• Assist in the design and implementation of standardized measurements and process improvements for OTC operations across the region.
• Work extensively with various departments to ensure that the company makes the best possible decisions to maximize sales and collections.
• Be prepared to travel to locations to clarify procedures and promote process improvements and potential issues with clients in addition to visiting clients directly.
• Meet the group’s objectives as defined in the objectives through proactive communication with clients and participation in operations support.
• Maintain and improve the culture of arrears management from reactive debt chase to proactive credit management and customer retention with the goal of meeting or exceeding company goals.
• Be able to understand and make decisions involving bankruptcy, general liens and collections that involve legality or the use of an external third party.
• Be able to read and understand the impact of key legal documents that include open account extension or open account combinations.
• Lead monthly meetings on conflict / augmented reality in all countries in the region.
• Leads operational process improvements using statistical methodologies and network modeling and writes a feasibility study for improvement initiatives.
• Including identifying the causes of process inefficiency and designing process re-engineering solutions.
• Complete and distribute accurate AR and OTC reports according to guidelines.
• Perform various other duties and activities assigned by the supervisor within the material constraints of the job.

• Certificate in Accounting as part of courses taken.
• Minimum 10+ years relevant experience.
• 5+ years of credit management for five or more credit officers.
• Extensive credit experience.
• Computer skills that include creating graphs and diagrams that can be used to explain or define presentations.
• Previous experience in making credit decisions based on actual written analysis of financial data and information.
• Extensive experience in Letter of Credit.
• You must have previous international experience preferably gained in the region.
• Exposure or general knowledge of SOX, MICM.
• Experience with Oracle, GetPaid or JD Edwards will be required
• You must be an Egyptian citizen and currently residing in Cairo
