About the role:

• Managing a group of major accounts and companies to ensure customer retention and maximize the output of the major accounts portfolio.
• Support the Sales Manager in sales strategies, targets and sales performance so that profitability, growth and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
• Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance. Research and recommend new opportunities; Recommend to improve profit and service
• Acquisition of new clients by building their own potential client base through proactive prospecting techniques including cold calling
• Selling products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with potential customers. Recommend solutions.
• Prepare a report on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to help plan strategies to acquire potential business and understand future trends.
• Identifies product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Maintain all data within the CRM system. – Meet and exceed agreed-upon specific performance targets.
• Achieve team and individual sales targets as set by the management team within the agreed time range.
• Create frequent reviews and reports of sales and financial statements
• Participation on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
• Negotiate/close deals and deal with complaints or objections

Some of the main responsibilities:

• Deliver against all sales revenue and profit targets for assigned products
• Build awareness of key SmartWorld brands with daily, weekly and monthly custom customer industries benchmarking against sales activity and agreed performance targets
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

By reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be able to provide demonstrable experience of the following:

• Evidence of developing a proven prospect database and sales achievements
• Excellent relationship skills
• Business-to-business advisory sales skills
• Evidence of sales through multi-level decision makers
• Planning, organization and ability to balance multiple demands
• Team player with evidence of building business support across

• Market awareness and understanding of the challenges of customers and competitors

You will also have the following:

• Strong communication skills in English. Reading, writing and speaking
• Preferably educated with a degree or equivalent
• A background in sales and business development
• Good applied knowledge of MS Office
