Charterhouse is working with a boutique organization F&B that is looking to hire a corporate chef with experience in casual and casual dining, to join their team in Bahrain.
As Head Chef, you report directly to the Country General Manager and work closely with the development team on new concepts and editorials. Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the full cooking job across the central kitchen and several casual dining venues. You will train teams to implement recipes in existing locations as well as to launch new brands. Through the central kitchen you will develop this aspect of the business. You will be responsible for component sourcing, costs, waste and the supply chain. Key to this role is balancing the business side of the kitchen and the ability to train teams for seamless implementation across brands and concepts.
The successful candidate must have experience as either a Head Chef (multiple outlets) or a Head Chef, within casual or casual dining. Additional experience supervising a central kitchen is preferred.
Experience in breakfasts, lunches, bakeries, burgers, salads, and fusions, and the ability to level up these concepts is essential for this role. You must have experience managing multiple kitchens. Excellent communication skills and solid experience in training full kitchen teams is required.
Due to current restrictions, preference will be given to candidates who are currently in the Middle East.
