We are looking for a Construction Manager (MEP) to join our ongoing leisure projects in Dammam.
A normal week includes:
* Organizes the project team on site and allocates responsibility for HSE, site supervision and document control procedures
* Assist in reviews and analysis of all claims submitted by the contractor
* Adopts a proactive work and safety policy
* Establishes a good working relationship with all stakeholders across the project team and construction teams
* Adopts a fair and reasonable approach in dealing with contractual disputes
* Recognizes and shows appreciation for individual employee accomplishments
* Provides tips and advice on how to improve people’s performance
* Provide support and follow-up to issues related to employee problems
* Ensure the quality of work by carrying out inspection procedures
* Provides assistance and support to the project team on technical matters, including buildability, procurement, and shop drawings
Demonstrate proactive awareness and reporting of the overall progress of works, working closely alongside contractor(s) to mitigate program issues
* Maintains regular contact with the PMCM team regarding cost and program related issues
* Communicate effectively with the client and other stakeholders on all matters that may affect the term of the contract or the value of the contract
* Advises the client regarding any contractual matters and makes recommendations for resolving contractual disputes
* Work alongside the project team and the main contractor(s) to coordinate all interfaces between the various contractors working on and adjacent to the project site
* Representing WSP as a senior member of the PMCM team and always working in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* At least 15 years of industry experience managing and delivering large and/or complex building construction projects, to high standards and fast-track software
* Effective leadership and high commitment in order to achieve goals
*Must be familiar with contractual issues related to construction projects and have good working knowledge of the FIDIC Red Book.
*Must have previous experience in a PMCM environment (Program Management, Construction Management)?
*Must have previous experience with theme park projects and/or sporting events
