My client is a leading engineering consultancy firm based in Riyadh with an excellent reputation and a proven track record of working on some of the most prestigious projects in the countries. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Commercial Manager for the following;
Implement management and maintenance of cost control systems and procedures to keep track of budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts, and to assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates and schedules for projects of medium complexity and value
Providing cost information to support decision and alternative selection
Evaluate contractor invoices before submitting them to client financing systems for pre-approval
Use information from PMIS (or similar) and inputs to decide cost and verify expenditure
Evaluate and analyze fee/bid offers and make recommendations for decision making
Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis
Maintain and manage cost report and provide regular updates on financial status
Assist in developing, validating and maintaining project schedule
Assist in developing reporting tracking tools and generating cost reports on a regular basis including earned value assessment
Support the coordination of the change management process for the project
Candidates must have a degree in engineering or quantity surveying and preferably some type of higher education qualification. Candidates must be a full member of RICS and must have appropriate experience gained through Consulting Engineering or PMC in the Middle East preferably in Saudi Arabia. Candidates with a quantity surveying background are preferred.
