Commander-in-chief confers Order of Bahrain medals on BDF officers

Manama, February 28 (BNA) The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, patronized today at the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force the ceremony of handing over the Bahrain Medal. Medals granted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, to a number of senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force, on the occasion of the 54th Bahrain Defense Force.y Anniversary.


During the ceremony, which was attended by Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the Commander in Chief awarded the Bahrain Medal of First Class and Second Class to a number of senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force.


The commander of the Bahrain Defense Force delivered a statement conveying the congratulations of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the honored officers, noting that the annual honoring comes in line with the Bahrain Defense Force’s keenness to appreciate distinguished officers and motivate all its members to do more. Dedicated to serving the country.


He stressed that Bahrain enjoys stability thanks to the advanced readiness of the Bahrain Defense Force and the tireless efforts of its brave personnel to maintain national security and civil peace. He wished the Bahrain Defense Force soldiers stationed on the battlefronts continued success and a safe return to their homes, noting that they are always a source of pride for the sacrifices they make to defend the right.


The Commander in Chief affirmed that the Bahrain Defense Force, which was established by the King, the Supreme Commander, is determined to continue enhancing its readiness in all fields and developing its military systems thanks to the unwavering royal support.

Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed praised the efforts made by the Bahrain Defense Force soldiers, praising the sacrifices they make in order to preserve the homeland’s security, stability and territorial integrity, in addition to protecting the hard-earned achievements and capabilities. He also hoped that the Bahrain Defense Force would continue to advance to be the Kingdom’s protective shield.

Then Surat Al-Fatihah was recited over the souls of the dead soldiers.


The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Defense Affairs Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and a number of senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force.
