The main purpose of a CNC operator’s job is to operate a CNC machine.
responsibilities
• Read and understand manufacturing drawings.
• Setup and commissioning of a CNC bending machine.
• Monitor the device for proper operation and monitor violations.
• Inspect product quality to ensure conformance to approved drawings.
• Change molds or other machinery accessories as required.
• Identification of products by appropriate means.
• Inspect product quality to ensure conformance to approved drawings, for first piece & random check as per procedure.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance as per checklist
• Check tools for wear and sharpening if necessary.
• Maintain a list of templates.
• Clean work and surroundings.
• Follow all safety instructions.
• Follows all established procedures and work instructions.
• Performs another task that may be assigned.
• Performing various tasks assigned by his direct manager
qualifications
Knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications
• Trade certificate or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand concoction drawings.
• At least 4 years experience in CNC Bending Machine Operation, preferably Trumpf machines.
• Desire to learn and implement new technologies.
• Must be diligent and adaptable
