Job purpose

The position is responsible for the monthly processing of all fellow salaries and wages including benefits.

Basic Responsibilities

Monthly salary transfer processing

Calculates and finalizes the payroll with printing the necessary reports to obtain the appropriate approvals to be submitted to the bank for processing.
Ensures a high level of confidentiality when dealing with all payroll matters.
Collects and verifies basic payroll information from original sources such as appointment letters, E-Overtime/E-Timesheet reports, payroll exemptions and deductions form.
– Petty cash reimbursements and expense report related to fellow benefits.
– Makes the necessary deductions from the salary of colleagues before the day of payment.
Takes note of the resignee and ensures the correct process to avoid overpayment on the last salary payment.
Examine and calculate the benefits of all colleagues and ensure proper backups are provided.
Works closely with the talent and culture team on matters relating to colleagues’ salary, vacation, allowances, and discounts.
Responsible for providing the Central Provident Fund in an accurate and timely manner.
Examining, verifying and processing casual labor payments in electronic casual labor every two weeks.
Submit all claims for paid government leave and reserve compensation and increase any available credits to reduce the total cost of salaries.
IR21 files for all foreign colleagues resigning for tax clearance purpose.
Reconciles vacation and accrued bonuses on a monthly basis.
Ensures adherence to all hotel regulations and internal controls related to the payroll department.
Works on any payroll related projects and ensures successful implementation.

Coordinates with different departments to ensure proper documents are submitted.

IR8A Report for all employees is generated annually and submitted for mandatory income tax filing.

Knowledge and experience

Possess a diploma or equivalent in hospitality or a related field.
Previous office management or payroll knowledge is required.
