Sells a subset of products or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/unnamed accounts/geographical area (mainly Level 3 accounts).
The primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a specified area. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from prospecting to business development and specifications through contract negotiations, signing and after sales support. Take advantage of Oracle’s sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenues and self-sufficiency.
Job duties are diverse and complex, and require independent judgment. May have a leadership role in the project. 5 years field sales experience including technology sales experience. Ability to successfully forecast and manage sales expenses and close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing territory/account. Experience as a customer focal point for all sales and related issues. Knowledge of Oracle and/or knowledge of its competitors. Travel may be required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
