China’s foreign trade up 27.1 % in October

Beijing, Nov. 7 (BNA): China’s foreign trade saw strong growth again in October, according to figures released on Sunday.

According to statistics from the Beijing Customs Bureau, exports totaled 300.2 billion dollars, up 27.1 percent over the same month last year.

The Chinese economy has seen exports rise for 13 months in a row.

Imports rose 20.6 percent in September, just below most economists’ expectations.

However, China continued to buy remarkably little from Germany.

Chinese imports from Germany declined by 5.1 percent in October compared to the same period a year earlier.

On the other hand, China’s exports to Germany grew significantly, registering an increase of 42.5 percent.
