Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): The Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force, Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, chaired today the Bahraini side in the nineteenth meeting of the Bahraini-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee. While the Jordanian side was headed by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Youssef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti.
Lieutenant General Diab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi praised the strong relations between the two countries and their steady growth at all levels. He stressed the common visions and valuable directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.
The minutes of the nineteenth meeting of the Bahraini-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee were signed. The two sides also reviewed the topics on the agenda of the meeting, which aim to enhance military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The talks also focused on ways to enhance bilateral military cooperation and issues of common concern.
