Chief of Public Security inspects F1 preparations

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): Chief of Public Security Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan today praised the directives and follow-up of the Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to implement all security arrangements for the Grand Bahrain Building. Prize (Formula 1).

He pointed out that while he was touring the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) to inspect the security readiness for the success of the race.

He stressed that the main and contingency plans were studied and tested through various security scenarios implemented by joint security agencies, which reflected the readiness of the participating forces and their ability to implement the plans to face any emergency professionally. Moreover, he explained that security forces are deployed around the Bahrain Information Center and the main roads leading to the race venue to ensure smooth traffic flow.

He called on citizens, residents and visitors to enjoy the international event and the festive atmosphere, to cooperate with the security men and follow the instructions for their safety.
