Manama, September 1 (BNA) The Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan, witnessed the final of the Police Open Volleyball Championship, in which the Northern Governorate Police Directorate won the competition.
The president of the federation, which was organized by the Public Security Sports Federation, praised the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to hold sporting events and support athletics for the various Ministry of Interior teams.
The President valued the performance levels during the competition and thanked the Federation for its contributions to the success of the tournament.
The president of the federation expressed his thanks and appreciation to the president for attending the final of the tournament and for his continuous follow-up of all sporting activities of the federation to enhance the physical fitness of public security personnel.
The president handed over the trophy and gold medals to the members of the winning team.
