Supporting functions:
In addition to performing essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supporting functions, with the percentage of time to perform each function determined by the supervisor based on the particular requirements of the company.
Take over the responsibilities of your boss and other supervisors in their absence.
Due to the nature of the work, the manager may be required to undertake other tasks and special projects as determined by management.

Regular attendance as per the standards, as may be established by Accor from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of the position.
Health, Safety and Environment Requirements:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may involve potential risks to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required personal protective equipment. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or missing PPE to your manager, or equipment that does not fit properly.

Job specific knowledge, skill and ability:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Managing the general maintenance of hotel gardens and both gardens and garden area including basic carpentry work, simple painting and decorating.
Experience in a wide range of gardening tasks.
Experience in using machines of all kinds, including power tools
Ability to write and speak English to understand and communicate business functions to engineering staff.
Ability to perform duties in confined spaces and awkward situations.
Ability to remain calm in case of emergency and effectively deal with internal and external clients.
Ability to guide subordinates and achieve goals in a timely manner.
Quality control of all aspects of horticulture including health and safety.
Experience working with high standards of health and safety (health and safety).
Teaching qualification criteria:
A high school graduate or equivalent is required.
It is preferable to have a university degree (associate) for at least two years.
expertise:
Five years experience in the same field in hospitality.
Licenses or Certifications:
Ability to obtain any required government license or certification.
CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred.
Any licenses or permits that may be required by law or company regulations, such as an electrician’s license.
Induction:
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or clothing required as part of the orientation process will be explained.
