This organization is geared towards a vertical integration approach; They are looking towards areas of trading along with technology platforms, through data mining partnerships, and connecting them with the worlds of Blockchain and Crypto Currency.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will assume a directive and management role in all areas of financial management while overseeing and reviewing financial accounting across the company. Concurrently, the CFO will focus on developing reporting platforms within the Group, to ensure strong governance and control, across both relevant operational and investment activities. This CFO should be heavily involved in the areas of regulatory compliance along with the development of investment appraisals and financial proposals; To allow for detailed due diligence with financial modeling and forecasting via Excel and analysis of market related trends.
The client will be looking to hire an experienced financial professional who possesses a professional accounting and/or financial qualification (ACA, CPA or MBA); Where basic and fundamental principles are rooted and proven.
In combination with this, the client will look for a profile associated with a backend of the analyzer type; Where candidates can display an understanding of investment banking, merger and acquisition functions, and/or venture capital and accounting standards related to compliance. The client also directs this research towards identifying applicants who are able to provide a solid background knowledge and experience of Crypto and Blockchain operations as well as an appreciation of any arithmetic nuances.
Secondary to this, the client ideally looks forward to the evaluation of candidates who have worked in trading-related environments; Be it within the financial services or trade finance organisations. The CFO is also expected to act as an external interface with any regulator, external auditor, funding partner, or investor.
