Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that the monthly issuance of the Islamic Peace Sukuk was oversubscribed by 357%.
Subscriptions of BD 153.338 million were received for the BD 43 million issue, which is due within 91 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins February 15th and matures May 17th, is 5.80% compared to 5.72% for the previous issue on January 11th.
Peace Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
